Mad Men
I don't know if it's the show related to my work, or just the great wardrobe they have. The show is based in the 60s a great period for fashion revolution. Modernist meant Levi’s.
Everything went from psychedelic, geometric prints and pastel colors. Dresses were feminine, yet classy with their low décolleté and close-fitted waists. Stilettos were part of the daily routine either for housewives or working women. Audrey Hepburn and Jackie Kennedy inspired styles. The time were Chanel evaluated women’s wardrobe with her feminine male suits. Jacky Kennedy was an iconic muse with her pink Chanel suit and matching pillbox hat that was soon worn by all.
Ahh nostalgia, am I from the 60s???
The good news is that is all back, I can finally enjoy that beautiful style that was once so fabulous !
